Career Transitions, LLC. is working with a $1B global company who is seeking a Plant Superintendent for the 1st shift. This position reports directly to the Plant Manager and is located in the Nappanee/Syracuse IN area. Excellent compensation. This is a full-time, direct hire position.
Responsibilities:
o Hire, train, manage and develop employees.
o Implement and oversee programs relating to lean mfg., safety, quality and logistics.
Requirements:
o Associate or Bachelor degree preferred with Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering major.
o Excellent communication, leadership and problem solving skills.
o 5-7 years of Supervisory experience.
o Experience with ERP/MRP systems, Microsoft operating systems and shipping processes.
o JD Edwards experience a plus.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
