Our client specializes in custom engineered HVAC systems. Their climate control systems can be found worldwide in all types of commercial vehicle from buses and coaches, to work and military vehicles.
The client supplies custom designed solutions from single system components to complete climate systems. They are looking to hire a Production Manager to work out of their Goshen, IN facility.

Minimum requirements:
bachelor degree or higher in engineering (mechanical/industrial preferred)
5 -10 years of production experience in an assembly or manufacturing industry
must have implemented lean manufacturing practices
must have experience in a world class manufacturing environment
experience in HVAC or sheet metal or automotive manufacturing industries desirable

Required knowledge of software/tool/equipment/machinery:
Microsoft office (word, outlook, excel, powerpoint)
mrp/erp
assembly machine calibration

Job Description:
supervise, establish and coordinate the production schedule in the manufacturing environment
ensure the flow of material, parts and assemblies between or within departments
supervise assembly supervisor, line leads and all hourly work force
control overtime
participate in hiring, discipline and appraisal process for subordinates
assist the assembly supervisor in employee performance management, disciplinary action and employee complaints
control production line expenses
submit necessary paperwork in an accurate, timely manner
operate well in a cross-functional team environment
provide work instructions to line leads and hourly workers
maintain, repair and perform preventive maintenance on capital equipment in the facility to support production
ensure assembly machine major calibrations are completed
train line leaders on the most updated knowledge and skills they require
provide line leaders with necessary tools and equipment to conform to systems
conform to recognized safety procedures including OSHA rules and regulations, HAZCOM, and normal shop safety
hold regular communication meetings with work group to review progress against objectives
acquire p.o. authorization to purchase equipment and supplies to support production
lead subordinates in the attainment of product line objectives
lead hourly work force to achieve specific production goals
provide subordinates with necessary training and equipment
implement methods and procedures by manufacturing engineering and quality
engineering system conformance
identify and correct off-standard conditions
communicate with all support departments
communicate production line goals to subordinates-share results and develop appropriate correction plan
maintain a safe and clean work environment, continuous improvement in housekeeping
manufacture product in conformance to quality standards
implement pre-determined plans; respond positively to changing conditions of the production floor to attain schedules while conforming to various manufacturing systems
implement procedures as defined by manufacturing engineering and quality engineering
be in continuing contact with other members of product line team, line leaders, and support departments
contact with any customer/supplier of this product line who visits the facility
enforce company policies & practices
implement world-class manufacturing practices plantwide
perform master scheduler/planner responsibilities

Environmental responsibility
ensure that all job-specific EMS training is provided to all department personnel
develop specific needs training and general awareness programs for employees.
ensure that EMS implemented, maintained and communicated in their specific department
understand/ensure relevant department legal and regulatory requirements are in compliance.
understand list of environmental aspects and impacts.
participate in development of objectives and targets
review resources requirements with sr. management and human resources
involved with EMS system non-conformances , corrective actions, preventative actions and continuous improvement
review and comply with EMS, operating procedures, policies, laws and regulations impacting the environment.
communicate company?s environmental system to department employees as required
communicate emergency preparedness and response to department employees


Quality responsibility (department personnel):
department personnel are responsible to their department manager.
department personnel are responsible for implementing work/inspection instruction as supplied in relation to their functional activities
department personnel are responsible for identification and recording any quality problems/non-conformances or non-conformance traits to their department head and/or to the quality assurance manager

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
