Purchasing Agent Job
Responsibilities:
Identify potential suppliers for required products and services.
Research products and services to determine their quality, price, and availability.
Negotiate prices with suppliers to get the best deal for the company.
Ensure timely delivery of goods and services by coordinating with suppliers and other departments in the organization.
Maintain accurate records of purchases and orders, including pricing, delivery dates, and supplier information.
Monitor inventory levels and place orders for replenishment when necessary.
Develop and maintain positive relationships with suppliers to ensure continuity of supply.
Stay up to date on industry regulations and best practices related to purchasing and supply chain management.
Continuously evaluate and improve the purchasing process to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
Requirements:
Qualifications and Skills Great organizational skills Excellent negotiator Excellent communication skills Great time management Ability to work under pressure Experience Requirements Previous purchasing experience within the RV industry is preferred.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
