Job Description:
Provide daily care for traumatized youth aged 8 to 18.
Establish structure and routine in daily life.
Mentor kids through a variety of activities Help facilitate rehabilitation of at-risk youth.
Requirements:
21 years of age.
High school diploma or equivalent.
(Preference and salary adjustment for those possessing or in pursuit of a bachelor's degree.
) Valid driver's license and a driving record that meets Agency requirements.
A pre-employment background check as well as a physical exam and drug test will be required, including a TB test.
Starting salaries for Youth Care Workers (depending on education and experience):
Second shift full-time (1:
30p-10:

41 PRN (the schedule varies):
$15.
00 - $16.
00 Premium pay for working the weekends - an additional $3.
00 on top of the base pay Bashor Children's Home residential programs are staffed with three shifts to give 24-hour coverage.
Full-time direct care staff on the first and second shifts work a 4 days-on, 2-day-off rotation, and full-time direct care staff on the third shift work a 5-day-on, 2-day-off rotation.
All direct care staff must be able to work some weekends on a rotational basis as scheduled.
All full-time direct care staff will have on-call responsibilities.
